(Received 3, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, July 9. "Well pleased with the results of bt« eight-months' visit, Mr Walter Naah told the Australian Associated Press before leaving for New Zealand on July 3, that he had accomplished pro* bably the most profitable work be had ever done. In discussing with the British Government New Zealand' s future plans and the exteasion of trade to the United Kingdom, Mr Nash indicat-. ed that the results were brighter and there was a possibility of a better trade pact with Britain although it was likely that negotiations would con? tinue for some months yet. There was also hopes of increased trade with Germany, Holland, France and Russia particularly. As regards wool Mr Nash uttered a wai'ning that if Britain was unwilling to get more into the wool market, it would find New Zealand going elsewhere. While deolining to divulge any results of the Pacific shipping and TransTasman air discussions, Mi* Nash said he ©xpected a measure of finality soon and added that he hoped under the new meat agreement the quota would be further increased in 1938.
