CANADA'S ATTITUDE

Mr Mackenzie King, opening tbe Canadian pavilion at the Paris Exhibition, said that some people imagdned since the Imperial Conferenee that Canada wished to withdraw from the affairs of the British Commonwealth of Nations. "That is entirely untrue, ' ' he said. "We like to manage o-ur own affairs, bnt any threat to England will immediately bring Canada to her side.'*
