Railway Concert Party at Sanatorium

WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Vocal, instrumental and novelty items were included on the programme rendered by a concert party from the Waipukurau Railway who visited Pukeora Sanatorium this week and gave a most enjoyable and thoroughly appreciated entertainment. 'Ihe organiser was Alr R. Nicholsou, who was assured that the patients were deeply- grateful for the evening. These sentiments were voiced by Mr P. C. Hill, of the Sanatorium, and in reply Mr Nicholson assured Mr Hill that his concert party were always eager to do their share towards the , entertainment of the patients. He ' thanked the matron, Miss Ingles, and her staff for providing supper. The programme was as follows: — Orchestral; song, Miss G. Wiggins; steel guitar solo, Mr R. Nicholson; sketch, Patterson's- Gang ; song, hfr J. Seabrook; recitation, Miss O. Moffat; song, Mr G.'Hart; recitation, Miss G. Wiggins ; tin whislle . and guitar duo, Mesprs Noble and Nicholson; song, Mr T. Harvey; novelty item, Messrs Hart and Nicholson ; duet, Miss G. Wiggins and Mr J. Seabrook; accordeon and guitar duet, Messrs G. Herbert and R. Nicholson; song, Mr G. Hart; guitar solo, Mr R. Nicholson; song, Mr j. Seabrook; sketch, Nicliolson's Gang; song, Miss G. Wiggins ; chorus, The Party. The accompaniste was Miss Ruth H enburn.
