( WELLINGTON, Last Night. Arrangoments have been made for the electoral boundary rcpresentatioa commissions to make a start ncxt week With the' revision of the eloctotal bOunflaries of tho seats in the House of KepreSentatives. There are two cemtoissiens, one for -the North Island and one for the South Island, and the Minister in charge of the electoral o&ce, Hon, H. G. R. Mason, aunounced tonight that they wero te : meet in We'Ungton as a joint commission on d"uly 6. Pollowing this meeting the commissions Would sit separately and proceed with the work'of adjusting bonndaries in the two islands. .When the commissions meet next week as a joint commission they will fix a quota and allot a number of seats to caeh island in accordance With tho distribution of population revoaled by the census last year. Sitting as two separato Commission - they will then proceed to iix provisiona boundaries in the two islands. . Tho undertaking is cxpocted ti oecupy approximately tiirco weeks, Sit tings will be held in Wellington but the SOuth Island commission will latcr visit Christchurch to liear Objoetions to the provisional boundaries tlsfeil for the , southern. ctcetorates.
