Dr. and Mrs Miles Hudson, of U.S.A., are staying in Hastings with Dr. Hud- ' son's mother in Duke street. Miss Joan Gard'ner, Cashel street, Christchurch, leaves to-day for Havelock North, and will be the guest of Mrs W. N. Barron, Mr and Mrs A. E. Lawry and Mr and Mrs H. H. Wylie, of Napier, left today for Auckland, where they join the Majua for a trip to the Islands. Mrs N. Wilton, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mr and Mrs H. D. Hardy, "Glenora," Waipukurau. Mr and Mrs G. O. Bayley, Te Awamutu, spent the week-end at the Chateau Tongariro and then motored on to Hasti ings. Mrs Bayley will spend a holiday i with her patents, Mr and Mrs Barton » Hobbs, Charlotte Crescent, before returning home.
