FRIDAY IS THE NIGHT TO KEEP FREE
Dancers from all parts of the district. remembering the great success of last year' s Red Cross Ball, have made a point of making next Friday, July 2, as the date for this year's ball, and , the organisers promise that every preparation has been made to eclipse last year's effort and make this quite the best season. Three of the main features at a ball are the fioor, the music and the supper, and it is promised that on Friday evenmg the * Assembly Hall floor will be in excelient order, the music will be the best possible, and the supper most tempting. Besideg these thre© attractions a special ballet has been arranged, and novelty dances will make excelient variety in the usual dance programme. For non-dancers bridge has been arranged, and.it is promised t'kat whatever the night the room will be warm and cosy. And last of all, those who realiso wbat a jolly evening is ahead will at the same time know that they give their assistance to a cause which is worthy of the greatest support.
