Allowing for the sum qf £620 to Auckland' s credit in Wellington and £820 still to cojne from the Y,W,C.A. pageant, Auckland's contribution to the King George V Memorial Fund will be £20,830. With this mtimation, the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis, at the T'pwn Hall to-day handed to the act-iug-Prime Minister, the Hon, P, Fraser, a cheque for £19,833, Mr Fraser expressed thanks for the cheque.
