REMEMBER THE TRIPLETS' CARD PARTY ON THURSDAY

The generosity of the people of this district in giving help to any worthy appeal is wcll-known, and many will t'eel that the calle are never ending. Bome, however, will realise that the triplets' card party on Thursday afteruoon in the Hastings Assembly Hall is something which needs the support of the Hastings people because these three little bahies cannot be given a good fftart' in life without some financial assistance. Perhaps those who have not made up a table for cards will consider again and realise that every table helps a great deal, and that while they help the triplets they are also spending a jolly afternoon with their friends. Tables, cards and afternoon tea must be brought by the players, but good prizes vjill be given for eompetition. It is hoped that this will be the biggest and best card party ever lield in Hastings and those who want their seats reserved have only to ring Mesdames G. A. Maddison, H. Lovell-Smith, Harold Thompson, A. F. Glenny or Miss E. Williams.
