PORANGAHAU, Last Night. The Porangahau Hall was well fillcd on Thursday evoning, when the parishioners of Porangahau gave a welcome to the Rev. Mr Niblock and Mrs Niblock. Mr Longley • oxpressed pleasure in having Mr and Mrs Niblock to look after the parish and knew well that their work would be appreciated by the people. Mr Niblock thanked everyone for the hospitality they had received since he and Mrs Niblock came to Porangahau, and he hoped that they 'would be able to look forward to many happy years.in the district. A short play was enaeted under the guidance of Mrs Hope, and the remainder of the evening was spent 4n dancing. A delightful supper was served by members of the Ladies' Guild, and music was provided by Ross's Orchestra.
