DAIRY PAYMENT
Record Levin Bonus (By Telegraph— Press Aeaociation.) LEVIN, Last Night. At a meeting of the directors of the Levin Oo-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., lield to-day it was decided to make a final payment of 2£d. per lb. for butterfat supplied during the year ended May 31, 1937. With this payment, which will be the largest ever made by the company as a final paymejit, the average payment for the season will be brought to over I4d. per lb. butter-fat. Last season the average payment was 12.788d Manufacturing costs have increased by approximately 20 .per cent. and represent an increase of slightly over Jd. per lb. of butter-fat.
