Palms, ferns and flowers in autumn tints decorated tlie upstairs Foresters' Hall, Napier, wlien tlie staff of Messrs Henry "Williams and Sons gave a dauce to farewell their manager, Mr C. J. "Watson, who is going into business on his own account. The evening was a very jolly one, the guests, numbering well over a hundred, spending a very Jiappy time. During the evening a delicious supper was served, bowls of Tceland poppies artistically decorating the tables.
