Mangaorapa Group
The Mangaorapa Women's Institute held their monthly meeting, Mrs Hope presiding over a fairly good attendance. An interesting address was given by Mr Niblock, for which he was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. Tho results of the competitions are as follows : — Loaf of white bread, Mrs Redward 1, Mrs B .Wliice 2. Sugarbag article, Mrs M. Davidson 1, Mrs J. D. Davidson 2. Knitted pullover or cardigan, Miss Lila Hansard 1, Mrs Hogjg 2, Mrs B. White 3. lvnitted sox, Mrs J .D. Davidson 1, Mrs Hogg 2, Mrs Hope and Mrs Sherston acted as judges. A.fternoon tea was served by Mesdames Hogg and Thelwall.
