WAIPUKURAU, This Day. A uniform general rate of l£d in the pound has been struck for the ensuing year by the' Patangata County- Council, in accordance * with a resolution adopted at the . council 's meeting held on J'uly 13 last. Particulars of the ensuiug year's rating are contained in an advcrtisement in to-day 's issue of the Hctald-Tribune. In addition to* this general rate, which is hased -upon unimproved valne of all rateable property in the' Patangata county, an additional rate of .^d in the pound has been struck for ratepayers in the Oero riding to provide interest on the Patangata, bridge loan of £7810; ' 3-16ths, of a penny in the pound for Porangahau ratepayers to provide 'interest on the local Eoad Board loan of £3004 12/9 and the Porangahau Bridge Loan . of £3135; 3-8ths of a penny.. in the pound for all county 'ratepayers to provide the amount' of ievy.'payable by the county to the Whipawa Hospital Board; and S/16ths of a' penny for all county ratepayers, • to provide tho sum of £1813 4/6, being the amount of levy payablo to the Napier Harbour Board for the cinrent financial year.
