A shunting engjne hauliug trucks oi stone for the Oamaru foreshore protection works last night capsized over a 20-foot clitf. The line was very near the clitf and the weigbt of the engine caused the earth to subside, resulting in the engine toppling over. The driver, Walter Goodall, and the fireman, Frank Healey, jumped clear and were not hurt. The engine is now being pounded by tho seas and is a complete wreck . — Oainar
