Seven cases of diphtheria, three of scarlet fever, two of poliomyelitis (iiifantile paralysis), two of tuberculosis and one of puerperal fever were reported to the Health Department for the week ended yesterday from the Hawke's Bay — Wairarapa area. KEEPS SKIN SMOOTH WRITES LADY OF MIRPIL. Mrs. A. M. Balcer, 34 Kowhai Street, Kingsland, Auckland, writes: — "Having used and sold Mirpil Skin Balm and found it most satisfactory in combating Sunburn and also for keeping the skin smooth and white, I can recommend it , to others needing a useful skin balm."
