DUEL FORBIDDEN
Lawyer and French Public Prosecutor (Heceived 11, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 10. The Times' Paris correspondent states that M. Maro Rucart, the Minister of Justice, has forbidden the Public Prosecutor at Valence, M. Jean Verne, a grandson of the author, Jules Verne, to reply to the challenge to a duel issued by the famous barrister, Mr Jean Le Grand, on the gronnd that he is responsible for his action s only to liis offieial superiors A message on June 8 stated that M. Le Grand had challenged the Public Prosecutor at Valence to a duel, failing the latter's retraotion of an alleged injurious criticism of Le Grand's professional methods.
