HOSPITAL INQUIRY
Board Appoints Counsel A speeial meeting of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board called by the chairman, Mr. 0. Lassen, was held in Napier last evening, when the board reeeived official intimation of the decision of the Director-General of Health to appoint a Royal Commission to inquire into the administration and conduet of the Napier Public Hospital. A solicitor was appointed by the board to attend the commission, which commences its hearing at the Supreme Court, Napier, on Monday.
