The Governor-Goneral, Viscount Galway, has sent the following message to the King: "On^the occasion of the celebration of your Majesty's birthday, I beg to tender your Majesty with my humble duty and the royal and affectionate good wishes of Your Majesty 's Government and the people of New Zealand to convey to you an assurance of their constant and unflagging devotion to Your Majesty and the Throne.— ( Signed) Galway .
