*. British Troops Occupy Rebel Areas . NO TRACE OF FAKIR (Reeeived 9, 1 1p.m.) SIMLA, June 8. Simultaneously with a gathering of tribal elders to hear British officials terms for a frontier peace in Wazerstan, troops, without opposition, occupied the more trouhlesome centres. The elders were ordered |to expel hostile trihesmen. There has been no trace of the Fakir, of Ipi, the leader of the revolt, since he fled from his cave stronghold. A meseage on June 1 stated that messengers from the Fakir of Ipi, eeeking peace, had arrived from all sections oi' the Tori Khel tribe.
