A seetion of refugees at Kokopo are sliowing considerable hostility to the proposal of the Administrator, General McNicoll, for an early return of the population to Rabaul. The AdministratOj- points out that now there is no further evidenco volcanic activity and claims that much of ihe opposition was due to panic. All available space on the ships Montoro.
