REV. JAMES WRIGLEY

The death has taken place at Birkenhead of the Eev. Jamea Wrigley, aged 80 years, who for 50 years was a minister of the Methodist Church. He began as a preacher at the age of 19 years, and was stationed at Waipawa, Woodville, Palmerston North, Westport, Wellington, Bichmond, Hastings, Levin, Waihi, Hamilton, Epsom and Eotorua, retiring 13 years ago. He had actually preached sinee, however, up to six months ago, in the Mount Albert circuit. He was born in Yorkshire on July 29, 1857, and came to New Zealand 54 years ago in the ship Westmeath. His wife predeceased him 18 years ago, and he was the last snxviving member of his family.
