MRS. EMILY VICKERMAN

The death has oecurred in AucMand of Mrs. Emily d'Arcy Yickerman, widow of the late Mr. E. E. Yickerman, nranager of the IJnion Bank of Australia, Ltd., Lyttelton. Mrs. Viekerman was a daughter of the late Eev. Dr. d'Arcy Irvine, of Hawke's Bay, * a direct descendant of the Irvines oi' Castle Irvine, County Eermagh, Ireland, He was headmaster of the Napier Grammar School. Mrs. Yickerman was a sister of the late Gerard d'Arcy Irvine, Coadjutor Bishop of Sydney, and grand-daughter of General Strover. She is survived by three sons, one daughter and six grandchildren.
