Spanish Governinent's Views ^ GENEVA, May 25. ' Sehor Devayo opposes a truce for the withdrawal of forelgn volunteers, arguIng that an agreemeht for the withdrawal of volunteers should be reached first. The Rome correspondent of Ihe Morning Post says that Italy, While not openly oppbsing a truce, will hot definxtely take action before her motives are clearly elucidated. Portugal's reply- is hardly any aiore encouraging, and Italy and Russtfa have not yet replied. hN either of tleese is expected to be favourable. Both •gides in Spain have disapproved.
