1 r ma - Money Adyanced For Flight To Gapfe (Reeeived 26, ,10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 25i Mrs Jill Wyndham obtained judginent in the Eing'a Bench Division for £549, with costs, agjainst Elying-Ofiicer David LleWellyn, W&h Whom she brbke the tecord in a flfght tb the Cape in 1935. The Judge reffused ah adjournment on aceount of Flydng-Officer Llewellyn 's absence, CoUnsel stated that Mrs Wyndham pawned her jewellery for £610 tb finance the .flight. She gave this to Llewellyn oh the itnderstahdxng that he would repay the loian and also pay her half of the bonusea resulting from tho flight. She also deffrayed his hotel expenses at Gairo and Capetown. He did hdt repay the money and she had tb sell lier motor-car in order to make a ba'hk deposit against payments. She said that if she was not aliowed to go, she Would Wreck the maChine.
