TAILORED BATHS ARE NOW FASHIONABLE
Everything seems to he trimly tail"ored these days, but all the same it comes as rather a shock to be told that baths are now to be tailoredl Th© experts say thafi the customery bath is a clumsy affair, difficult to get in and out of. The perfect bath is designed to conform with comfort to the, outlines of one's figure. To achieve this desirable state of things, new baths are . being set at an angle in their matching surroundings, to give more room to the shoulders. They may also have a raised shoulder lline, which serves as a grip, , or there are double metal grips either side of the bath, to facilitate getting out. ' Glass walls are popular for modern . bathrooms, in. peach pink they cast a becoming glow, and they are also easy to keep clean. The latest rubber flooring has its joins vulcanised, so that there is no breaking apart. Some of these rubber floors are made in a threecolour scheme, and are matehed exactly ' by wall tiles. Bathroom curtains are still • being made of pastel-tinted oil silk, but as a change you may decide upon. net curtains, hand-painted with fish and ships and other marine subjects. Batb linen sets include bath sheets and bath towels, bath mats, and hand towels. Made of turkish towelling, they all sponsor the same raised pattern in colour. Some are finished with woven initials, and occasionally the bath robe,' which is popular on the . Continent, is substituted for the bath sheet. Bath mats are backed with" rubber, and there is one new type that is made of a pastel-colo,ured cotton pile so cleverly and aoftly woven that . it resembles a deep carpet.
