Additional One for Waipukurau?

WAIPUKURAU, This Day. That he hoped shortly to make an aunouncement as to the Government' s future police with regiard to the licensmg and control of taxis, *was information given by the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, in a letrer to the Waipukurau Borough Council, read at last night's meeting. He wrote m reply to a query by the council as to wliether it could issue an additional licence. He stated that if the council was satisfied that an additional licence was required to meet the genuine expansion of taxi business, there vvas no reason why the licence iu particular should not he granted.
