I GREYMOUTH, Last Night. ] The executive of the Westland TimJ ber Workers' Union takes strong exception, the secretary, Mr. F. L. Turley, states, to the Government 's restricting ' white pine exports to Australia and f compelling millers to supply North : Tsland box makers at a price allegefflyj below cost. Th6 employees of Southern Timbers Limited at Hari Hari recently passed a resolution: "That th.6 secretary urge the Government to lift the export restriction or else revise the price and classifieation enabling a reasona"ble profit and avqiding unemployment.
