TAKAPAU CEREMONY

TAKAPAU, Last Night. Takapau township had' a very gay appearance on Coronation Day with flags flying at all the principal places. Buildings were decorated with Union Jacks and red, white and blue hunting. The Waipawa County kindly supplied coloured streamers and flags for the main street. A Coronation service was held at the Public School, where the children and public assembled. Mr. N. M. Paulsen, chairman of the Waipawa County Council, gave an address.
