MR. PICKWICK FOR THE SCREEN
Capitol Eilms have announced that they are starting immediately on the preparation of a film to be ealled "Mi Packwick," based on Charles Dickens' most celebrated character. Actual shooting will probably commence this month. Direction is to be in the handa of Walter Eorde, who has regularly during the past few years suggested that Pickwick would make an ideal subject for a British film. The advice aftd -co-operation of the varaous Dickensian societies existing in this country are to be sought in casting as well as in .actual treatmenf. No effort will be spared to make the screen "Mr Pickwick" cntirely to the liking of the niilliur.s who already love tho man
