WELLINGTON, May 14. A collision between a taxi and a bicycle on the Hutt bridge in February last resulted in a claim for £1250 general and £25 17s special damages in the Supreme Court to-day. Plaintiff was Ethel Mary Erskine, widow of Walter Robert Erskine, ironmoulder, of Lower Hutt, who received fatal injuries when struck by a taxi, Defendants jwere Eric Raymond Richardson, taxi driver, and William Thomas James Morrison, taxi proprietor.
