During a sudden swerve in a gust of wind. whlle making a test flight ln an aeroplane at the Dornier works, a mechanic nained Hipp inadvertdntly clutched a lever opening an emergency floor-trap, through which he disappeared. Hipp landed safely by means of his parachute and trudged home on foot with the parachute tucked under his arm.
