CORONATION DIVINE SERVICE
Order Of Proceedings At Hastings HOPES FOR GOOD CR0WD "After all the Coronation is deeply rich in history and ritual, and it is only right and fitting tihat the celebratioqs should he commenced with the Divine service so as to afford the people ihe opportunity of offering special prayers for the well-heing of their Majesties, and for that reason I trust that there will he a big attendance on Sunday," said the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Maddison, this morning when referring to the pubHe Divine service to "be held in the . Municipal Theatre on Sunday afternoon. The arrangement of the order of service was" left to the Hastings Ministers ' Association, and there will be sbiging by the massed choirs of the various! churches under the baton of Mr. C. B. Spinney, and the Hastings Citizens ' Band woll be in attendance prior to the service. The service will open with & hymm followed by "The Exhortation" and a prayer by the Eev. R. B. Gosnell; q second hymn and the reading of Psalm 21 thpn follows with Scripture lesson reading by the Salvation Army officer and another hymn; the address will be given by the Eev. O. B. Boggis, presi-; dent of the * Hastings Ministers ' Association, and afterwards . there will T>e, a f ourth hymn, prayers offered by -the Rev. D. J. A." Shaw, general thahks-> giving, the Te Deum by the combined choirs, and the Benediction by the Rev. K. Liggett. . The service will conclude with two verses of the National Anthem. The service will commence at 3 o'clock. .
