PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Making his first appearance in the Dominion, Matros Kirilinko (16.S) met Jack Forsgren (17.0) in the opening bout of the wrcstling season at Palmerston North to-night, Kirilinko having to be content to share the honours, although he showed a wider range of holds. Ho was of spiendid physique, like a dancer, and Forsgren appcared cumbersome in comparison.. The 1 it was quite eolourful, Forsgren showing that he was still the bad boy of old. The first fall came in the fifth rrund, Kirilinko following up a series of forearm jolts with a eouple of headlocks prior to picking up Forsgren . f . a dump and a fall. In the seventh Forsgren turned his opponent over to apply a boston crab and equalise the falls, tlie Russian's nimbleness being absent on this Oceasion. The deeision of a draw met rather a mixed recoption.
