Napier District Figures Increases in the numher of births qnd deaths and a -decrease in the number of marriages are shown .in vitai statistics for the Napier district for the mbnth of April, compared with those for the same month in 1936. The first two are greater in number thaa the monthly avetage for Iast year, while the number of marriages is three below that average. Following is a table: —
Two marriages were performed during the month by the registrar.
