WAIPAWA, This Day. The monthly sitting of the Waipawa Magistrate's Court was held yesterday before Mr J. Miller, S.M. The following judgmente were entered; — T. J. Dallas v. J. Parkinson, claim £1 10/-, costs £1 1/-; Bryant and Co., Ltd. v. W. Rohe, claim £6 18/5, u costs £1 19/-; Limbrick Bros. v. D. Crombie, claim £2 1/-, costs £1 3/6. William Tawhi was order ed to pay D. H. Edwards £14 5/4, and solicitor 's fee £1 1/- forthwith, in default 16 days' imprisonment. T. Paku to pay D. H. Edwards £21 15/9 and eolicitor 's fee £1 11/6, in default 23 days' imprisonment. An order for possession of a tenement within 14 days in favour of O. Hansen, was made against J. Colquhoun, and for payment of arrears of rent £14 and costs £3 4/-. A fine of £2 and costs 12/- wae impo$ed on G. H. Fairhall, Te Kura Settlement, charged with exposing liceinfested sheep for sale. The charge jvas brought by the stock inspector, Mr H. E. Allen, who stated that defendant when asked about the matter had intimated that he was unaware of the offence. M. B. Faulknor, Pukehou, charged with inconsiderate driving, was convieted and fined 15/-, with costs amounting to 12/-.. Charges of speeding were brought against O. Upton and J. G. Puflett by Traffie Inspector W. E. Yatos, and a fine of £1 with costs' 10/- was dmposed in each case. On the information of Traffie Inspector Yates, C. W. Wolffran, Otane, charged with riding an unlighted cycle, was convicted and fined 10/- with costs 32/-. O. Upton, licensee of the Imperial Hotel, Waipawa, for opening his premises for sale of liquor after hours, was convicted and fined £4, with costs amounting to 10/-. C. Hart, licensee of the Te Aute Hotel, was convicted and fined £3 with costs amounting to 12/- for selling liquor after the preseribed hours. •
