Tikokino Branch Meeting

TIKOKINO, This Day. The usual monthly meeting of the Tikokino branch 'of the N.Z. Farmers' Union was held in the Memorial Hall. Tikokino, on Monday, the deputycliairman, Mr D. Eddy, presiding ovor a fair attendance of members. An apology i'or unavoidable absence was reeeived from the district organiser, Mr C. J. Harris. ' The branch unanimously agreed to send a telegram to the chairman, Cax>tain E. T. R. Carlyon, on the morning of bis deijarture from Wellington on a trip to England, wishing him bou voyagc. A reinit was passed, to be sent to the Provincial Conference, and it was de- . cided to endeavour to obtqin a lecturei from the Department of Agriculture to address tho members on noxious weed^ ond their eradication at the May meet ing.
