TRANSPORT LICENSING
Authority Sits at Hastings There was a very brief sitting of the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr P. Skoglund, at Hastings yesterday afternoon, only a few matters requiring attention. A new goods licenee was granted to J. 0. Fraser for the carriage of logs in the Hawke's Bay eounty. The transfer of a goods licence from E. E. Griffiths to W. Oliver was approved and in addition W. Oliver was granted a seasonal lieense. The passenger licenee for the Hast-ings-Waimarama service from G. S. Eickey to L. A. Wright was approved. An amendment to the passenger licence of G. A, Frethey, suburbaa service in Hastings, giving authority for the use of 19 seats instead of six, was made and he was also given permission to serve the A. and P, showp.
