WAIPUKURAU v. TIKOKINO
In the Waipukurau v. Tikokino Uugby match, played at Tikokino on Saturday, Waipukurau wou 6 3. Mr C. Moore referoed. For Waipukurau, Crappe scored a try when he made a dash from a ruck near ths line. Jbhnstone kieked a magniflcent penalty goal, after Tikokino had bpen caught for "rabbiting" in a ruck, M. Ferguson played au outstanding ganxe for Waipukurau, equalling the standatd of any senior playing in a town team. Benson was almost as good, and Johnstone also played a good game. Lane had improved considerably since last Saturday, while Higgins wa? the best back. . Tikokino 's play was spoilt by faulty handling in the backs, while the forwards were unable to hold their own. French played the best back game
