Mr IMcCormick moved that the sijtbunion run a queen caruival at an early date, the iundg to reduce the habilitieg on Central Park, and a portion to be put a^ide for a representative tour. Ihe motion was carried. The fo.Jowing sub-conimittee was. then elected: — Messrs R. S. Ricketts, A. L. McCormick, B. L. Wallis, C. M. Williamson and A. W. Parsons. Mr N. Paulsen stressed tho neod for a hiniied mnnbor of qtu'ons, and it was proposed that oorlain clubs be amalgafod into distrieta with one queen each. The proposed amalgumations were: — Te Aute-Omakere-Otane ; Ongaonga- tikokino- tv aipawa ; Waipu UqranOid Boys; Takapau; Torangatnui, unless they desired to amalgauiate with Takapau. It was deeided to ecnifiH'ine the cax nival as soon as possible. Mr A, W. Parsons offered to donate a Shortliorii bullock to Le disposod of in urder fq raise lundn.
