At tlie invitation of Mr C. W. Corner, Napior borough superintendent of reserves, the members of the gardening circle of the Napier Towmswomen 's Guild paid a visit to Nelson Park, and wrere conducted over the borough nufseries by Mr Corner. The ladies were very^niuch interested and were agreeably surprised with the cleanliness and orderliness of the nurseries, and expressed their thanks to Mr Corner for liis, iielpful hints 011 chrysantliermiin growing. Afteruoon tea in the slirubberies brought to a close a pleasant and insttuctive afternoon. ' *
