Mrs W. Mathieson, Otawhao, has left for Fiji to visit her brother, Mr Archie Nikolaison, Suva. Mrs Dillon, Snr., Otane, who had the misfortune to break her leg spme three nionths ago, is now able to move about on crutches. Mr and Mrs August, Snr., have returned to Otane from a holiday visit to Taupo and Rotorua. Miss E. Borham, Wairoa, is staying with Mrs. A. G. Lincoln, Tologa Bay. Miss Myrtle Holmes has refurued io Tologa Bay after a holiday spent in V alron and the Manawalu district. Mr. R. Mclntyre senr., of ' "Clon-l-'Otn, ' ' Mangaone, was admitted to the Wairoa Hospital ou Saturday suffering ( rum acute appendicitis and was opcrated upon late in the afternoon. At l.itfest report he was making very good progress towards recoverv. f Mrs. Pryor, senr., has returned to Wairoa after an enjoyable holiday spent in Hastings with her daughter, Mrs Doak.
