Bomi& to British Ships to Run Blockade LONDON, April 16. The St. Jean de Luz correspondent of the Daily Telegraph states that the skipper of the merchant ship Mary .LleweUyn, "Potato" Jones, who emerged from retirement owing to the Spanish war, says: "When I was fifteen miles from Bilboa a British destroyer signalled advising me not to enter Spanish waters. I returned, as I did not wish to act contrary to the advice. I am still willing to have a shot at ruiming the blockade if I am accompanied by a vessel carrying wireless to assist me if I am attacked on •the high seas." The Basque Government is repotted to be offering British vessels carrying ;eargoes to Bilboa a bonus of 5,000 francs if they will leave to-day, the bonna being reduced by 1,0QQ francs for every day's delay.
