"Armada Waa the Last/' Says "Potato" Jones (Eeceived 19, 8.45 a.m.) ST. JEAN DE LUZ, April 17. "Potato" Jo©es, whose disgust at affairs is increased by the nick-name by which he is known throughout the world, and which he deelared to be most uncomplimentary,, went ashore this morning and discussed the position with his partners. • The Mary LleweHyn later faced a raging Bay of Biscay gale and steamed out. Jones refused to reveal his plans, btxt according to the Sunday Graphic he told the officer commanding a British destroyer: "I am packing np for Avonmouth." . "Potato" Jones, enraged over the inactivity, told the British .United Press that since the time of the Spanish Armada nothing had been heard of the Spanish Navy. He was sick to think of miserable veasels intimidating the British Navy and shipping. "If I had only myself to consider," he said, "I would be at Bilboa, but I can't risk :the lives of my crew. "
