WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Federation of Lab-j our was the title approved for the pro-j posed national organisation of the in'*j dustrial labour movement when the unity eonference continued to-day. The eonference also agreed upon the objective of the federation which was stated as follows: (A) To promote the complete orgaaisation of all workers to enable them to, secure the fuU value of X^ait labour and] the grouping of workers on the lines of class and industry. (B) The socialisation of the means of production, distribution and exchange. (C) To affiliate with recognised labour organisations in other countries and co-operate with them in raising the standard of life. ^ The eonference continues to-morrow.
