CARS IN COLLISION

Accident on the Te Pohue Road TWO PEOPLE INJURED A collisioit between two cars on the Te Pohue road, some 24 miles from Napier, at 9;30 last night resuljjed ifi two people receiving injuries. No details of the accident were known to the police this morning, but inquiries made revealed that a Mrs Meredith Was admitted to a Napier private hospital sufferibg from scalp Woufids afid shcck. A Mr HofiieDouglas reOeived a out on the head. Both cars are believed to have been badly damaged, but the other occupants of the cars, fortunately, escaped injury although they were shaken. Pending the arrival of the ambulauce, the injured received attention at Glengarrie Station.
