A message from Chapei TT(h, North Carolina states that the • American Chemical Society has anhbhhced tihe discovery of seienltun oxychloride, a straw-coloured liquid capable of dissolving almost every substance in the world; The exceptions are glass, platinmn ahd tungsteh. It has a high freezing point, 65 degffies FaherSnheit. A bottle of it froze in the laboratory and broke the glass then, warming, it dripped to the wooden fioor and dissolved almost everything with which it came in contact. It is believed that the discovery will opeU Uew indUStriai possibilitics.
