WAIPUKUEAU, This Day. A meeting of the ladies of Ce'ntral Hawke's Bay interested in the protuotion of the Central Hawke's Bay Aero Clitb'ls annual ball to be held on May 6 met yesterday. Those present were: Mesdames B. W. Boys (chair), E. P. Wilder, C. C. Giblin, C. A. Parmiter, F. de Stacpoole, F. Hewitt, J. Paton, C. B. Watson, W. J. Gray, G. F. Hartland, J. A. McLean, E. R. Perlqns, Misses A. and P. Wilder, J. Pattison, M. Wall, J. Ormond and R. Hepburn. The Misses M. Wall and T. Wilder were eleeted joint seeretaries. The decorations were left in the capable bands of Msdames Boys and Hewitt with power to co-opt assistanee. Mesdames Gray, R. P Wilder, and Paton wil) be in cliarge of the 'supper arrangements. Other matters appertaining to the success of the function were also discussed,
