PARTY AT HAVELOCK FOR ENGLISH VISITORS

Mrs Selwyn Chambers, Kopanga, Havelock North, gave a very jolly party for her guests, Mrs Curzon asd Miss Johanna Curzon, of Derbyshire, England. Preffy bowls of hydrangeas and chrysanthemums decorated the drawing-room and were also arranged in the dining-room where afternoon tea was served. Mrs Selwyn Chambers wore a model frock of crepe soir patterned in autumn tints. Mrs Curzon wore a very smart frock of green silk with small white design. She wore a white posy at the neck and a claep of brilliants trimmed her green hat in front. Her daughter, Miss Johanna Curzon, chose blue and white Swiss muslin worn with a wido white belt. The guests present were: Mr and Mrs George Tripe, Mrs W. N. Barron, Mrs Robert Nairn, Miss Violet Russell, Mrs H. Coleman and Miss Helen Coleman, Miss Alison Anderson, Mrs TurnerWilliams and Miss Marjorie TurherWilliams, Mrs F. K. FaulkneT, Mrs Ritchie and Miss Muriel Ritchie, Miss Simeox, Mrs Geoffrey Moore and Miss Moore, Miss Irene Chambers, Miss Hazel Chambers, Miss Olive Nairn, Miss Lily Macfarlane, Miss Lorimer, Miss Letty Levien (England), Miss Ruth Nelson, Miss Edna Burbury.
