FAREWELL BRIDGE PARTY HELD AT WAIPUKURAU
Mrs. L. R. Cuthforth, who is leaving Waipukurau this week for Tauranga, where she will in future reside, was the cuest of honour at a most enjoyable farewell evening, given for her by Mrs. A. M. White. Nelson Street, Waipuku-' rau. on Monday. Three tables had been set up for bridge in the drawing-room, which was eharmingly decorated witlx autumn flowers apd foliage. The wiuners were Mrs. .T. Allwood j^nd Mr. Hay who both reeeived suitahle gifts. Mrs. White reeeived her guests wearing a smartly fashioned gown in cherrv clooue. Mrs. Cuthforth cliose a becoming frock in blaelc lace over a silk foundation. Among the guests were: Mr. and ' s. J. Allwood, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Hay, Mr. and Mrs. A. .McBae, Mrs. E. Kenolds, Mr. D Neild,
