THE 'UNREST' COMMITTEE
Completion of Hospital Inquiry EARLY SltTING PROMISED "When is the committee that I eall the unrest committee going to ,complete its hearihg?" asked Dr. J. Allan Berry at yesterday 's meeting of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board when he reminded the chairman, Mr. 0. Lassen, that he 'stated it would be finished soon after Easter. . Mr. Lassen, In reply explained that on several occasions he ha'd endeavoured to convene the members of the committee, but on each occasion somo of them -had been absent.from Napier. He would endeavour to.arrange for the committee to sit again this week. The board decided at its last meeting that the main inquiry be eompleted and , the evidence fforwarded • to the Minister, and if he .thought fit that a Ministerial inquiry be , held. Dr. Berry: You said at tlie February meeting that if an inquiry were to ' go ahead that .you would do all in your power to, assist it. I am relying upon you to do that. .The coudition of the Hastings Hospital is sufficient evidence for the urgency of an impartial iuquiry.
